About This Course
With 1 in 5 Australians experiencing a mental health problem each year, chances are we all know someone—whether a friend, family member or colleague—facing these challenges, even if we don’t realise it.
Our Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course equips adults with the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide initial support to someone experiencing mental health issues or a crisis. This evidence-based, in-person training is delivered locally in Alice Springs and surrounding areas and prepares you to make a real difference at work, at home, or in your community.
No prior mental health experience is needed—just a desire to help.
Upon completing the course and assessment, you’ll be certified as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider), with accreditation valid for three years.
